I am getting really hooked up to this midnight blogging thing... as long as my Man Cityhigh let's me do so, well , I'll keep taking that advantage to excercise my old writting habits... Anyways, tonight while walking home from work, I found myself at this small park a few blocks from my crib and it has this wall freshly painted, and I couldn't help myself i pulled out my marker and I tagged the SHIT out of that wall... My name is everywhere... benches, walls, over Ultra Morada and Garra herediana tags, fucking everywhere, not to brag, but I was fast, and I got sucha thrill from that, I just had to come and write this post...
I have to keep it real, I am no TALENTED graff writter although I would LOVE to be one... I have hit shit up on multiple occations and locations over my Hometown, but I am in no way i would take claim of king or anything like that, word is bond I am a straight up toy, I do my best but I can't compete with the true kings of the art... I have a HUGE amount of respect for the cats that actually DO this for the love of the art... Cats like Mush, Dash, Piloy, Dripz, and such... and eventhough I will try to emulate, those cats are Jedi Masters, word up, and can't be duplicated... in the honor for the most visual element of our culture I will salute not only the above mentioned individuals and anybody who has wanted to chase fame for your name and not for your face... Catch Wreck, Go All City, and peel out before Day break...
By Far the Anthem, PackFM - "Click Clack & Spray" a lovesong almost to the art of bombing... a dope ass video with a dope interview intro with graff legend Chino BYI...
Another Ill Track, Company Flow - "Lune TNS"
and to close my personal favorite, "No Jumper Cables" by Aesop Rock... a little trivia on the video below this song was inspired by the documentary movie "Style Wars" to my opinion, it has to be giving Wild Style a run for it's money as the best hip-hop movie of all time... a great documentary that focuses in the early stages of the art, eventhough it focuses mainly on breaking and graff, it defines what hip hop was all about when it was created... anyway peep the line where Aesop Raps: "Rapping is my radio, graffiti is my TV... B-Boys keep the windmills breazy"
