Hi Bloggers, this is another edition of "Know your Beatz", this time around I bring beat producer Scott Storch; this 34 y/o producer has make us rock our body with infectiuos beatz that show his orientation toward sounds from Middle Eastern and Indian music. Storch was born in canada and eventually moved to Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey and Coral Springs, Florida, where he attended middle school; on pursue of a music career he dropped school and later, at the age of 16, he became the pianist for the hip-hop band The Roots. After the band got a record deal Storch quit saying that he needed to take a step backwards to take one forward; Storch first big hit was when he meet up with Dr. Dre and helped to helped produce the riffs for the song "Still D.R.E." Some of the most notorious tracks from Storch are "Lean Back" by Fat Joe, "Candy Shop" and "Just a Lil' Bit" by 50 Cent, "Side Effects" by Mariah Carey, Poppin' Them Thangs" by G-Unit, "Let Me Love You" by Mario, "Playa's Only" by R. Kelly (featuring The Game), "Lock U Down" by Mýa, as well as "Naughty Girl" and "Baby Boy", both by Beyoncé and "Turn It Up" by Chamillionaire.
