A heartbreaking story...

What's good people, is your Boy Chaz... It's a real treat to be added to the writting staff of City High Central... To give a bit of an introduction... I am 911 Groovy a station here in Costa Rica... I host a radio show called Metro there every thursday at 8 pm where we spin Hip Hop, R&B, Soul and Funk...
Now leaving the shameless plug behind, i've been pondering what could be good for a first post in this blog... i was thinkin of writtin a whole loooong ass post on how the rap game nowadays is all fucked up and something along the lines of a cliche of a hip-hop blogger... but just tonight when I logged in after doing the radio show I found this small video... about the guy who holds the largest record collection... now if you know your history, you know that Hip Hop was originally created on the breaks of records... and therefor the guy with the most records was the most versatile and was in the end the greatest... now a days where you can download your shit in 5 minutes... there are still djs that look for that rare vynil gem that no one else has... so imagine how the would feel if the got a chance to browse tyhis guy's stash... Honestly I miss both Vynil and Cassette, I used to LOVE making mixtapes with my homies back in the day... but that's another story... peep this video

Excellent article Chaz. This is what I'm talking about. Bringing that real shit to our bloggers. I will be honest if I had the money man I would not hesitate and buy the collection...

Music, my first love and my last love....

It's an honor to have Chaz form part of the CityHighCentral Staff. Real Hip Hop heads for real Hip Hop heads....

Stay Fresh!!!!
